First Chemo Treatment

Just talked to Dad - he was in hospital since Wednesday having his first chemotherapy treatment. Got out this morning. He says he feels pretty good - no sickness at all. He's a bit stressed though that he'll lose his hair - he's always had a massive uncontrollable red afro - but my Stepmother has promised to get him a special golf hat. He's very positive still, and feels a lot less stressed now that he's gone through the first treatment ok. Also he said that for the first time in ages he actually slept pain free and took no pain killers last night.

Just realised as i read about the red afro that ive never met your dad. How can this be? Ive talked to him so many times and heard so much about him, how is it possible that weve never met in the flesh? It was a weird, disjointed moment… Good to hear that the first treatment went well tho and that hes pain free now.

And am hoping that you forgive me for missing the live last night, did it go well?
